What: 
This presentation covers common myths about socialization, what socialization truly means, and how to introduce new experiences gradually and safely. It touches on reading body language, preparing with the right tools, and using counter conditioning and desensitization to build confidence. You’ll learn how to tailor socialization to your dog, support healthy dog-to-dog interactions and play styles, use effective handling skills, and manage tense moments or even dog fights. We’ll also explore alternative socialization options, explain how social needs change over a dog’s lifetime, and finish with time for questions.
