Behavior Modification Training
What is Behavior Modification Training?
Behavioral Modification Services (BMOD) are specially designed to help dogs with more in depth behavioral challenges such as reactivity, stranger danger, aggression, separation anxiety, and resource guarding. After listening to you about your pup our team of Behavior Modification Specialists will design a training plan that will propel you and your pup towards your goals!

Meet our Behavioral Modification Trainers
Our Behavior Modification Specialists have years of experience working with these behaviors and are looking forward to working with you!
Meet Cait
Cait brings 20 years of experience working with dogs and was recognized by Sniffspot as one of the top dog trainers in the country. She is passionate about helping people embrace science-based training methods and specializes in positive reinforcement (R+) techniques for both behavior modification and traditional obedience training. Known for her expertise with reactive, aggressive, and fearful dogs, Cait enjoys debunking the myth that force-free training isn’t effective for certain breeds or challenging behaviors.
In addition to her professional work, she volunteers with CARE STL, offering free training to long-term shelter dogs to increase their chances of adoption.

Meet Kailey
With CPDT-KA and Fear-Free Shelter certifications, Kailey is our go-to expert for shy, anxious dogs and those with “stranger danger.” But Kailey doesn’t just work with nervous dogs; she’s also worked with tigers! Yes, you read that right. If force-free training can work on tigers, it can absolutely work for your dog. And if she can train a tiger, she can train your dog. Kailey’s passion for creating individualized plans shines through her work, inspired by her own rescue dog who overcame anxiety through love and positivity.

Meet Shari
CPDT-KA-certified with 16 years of experience, Shari focuses on reactivity, fear aggression, and anxiety, as well as managing housemate conflicts and isolation distress. Her work in the Puppies for Parole Program has been life-changing, helping shelter dogs become adoptable by teaching them essential skills. Shari’s approach is rooted in patience, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to positive reinforcement.

Why Choose to Work in our Behavior Modification Programs?
It’s not just about correcting problems — it’s about understanding your dog’s needs, building trust, and creating a calmer, happier life together. With the right approach (and a few treats, of course!), you’ll see tails wag, confidence grow, and harmony return to your home.
