Making Dog Education Accessible to Everyone
We believe education and support should be available to every dog owner, adopter, foster, and volunteer in our community. Through free workshops and affordable training opportunities, we're helping people build stronger relationships with their dogs while creating better outcomes for shelter pets.

As part of our commitment to supporting the adoption community, our educational workshops are now offered free of charge in a virtual format, making quality dog education accessible to fosters, adopters, volunteers, and dog owners throughout the region.

Pay-What-You-Can Community Training Classes
Training should be accessible to everyone.
Our outdoor Pay-What-You-Can Community Training Classes are open to adopters, fosters, shelter volunteers, and community members (Gateway Pet Guardians area codes 62201-62206, CARE STL includes all STL City) looking to build foundational obedience skills in a supportive group setting.
Classes are offered twice monthly during the spring and fall.
