Whether you’re starting with a new puppy, an adopted dog, or a dog that has never been comfortable in a crate, this class will teach you how to build positive crate associations using force-free training methods. Throughout this 5 week class, you’ll learn how to: • Create positive feelings about the crate • Build calm, relaxed behavior inside the crate • Increase the amount of time your dog is comfortable being crated • Prevent and troubleshoot common crate training challenges • Use enrichment to make crate time enjoyable • Develop a crate routine that works for your dog’s lifestyle Our goal is to help your dog view the crate as their own safe space while giving you the tools to confidently use it for rest, travel, management, and everyday life. Perfect for: Puppies, newly adopted dogs, or any dog that needs help becoming comfortable and confident in a crate.
