AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class Description Welcome to the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class—your pup’s first step toward becoming a superdog! This fun and engaging class is all about helping you and your puppy bond while building confidence, good manners, and foundational skills. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program (which stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsible dog ownership) is designed to set you and your pup up for success. Think of it as Puppy Kindergarten, where your little one gets to make new friends, learn essential life skills, and work toward earning their very first AKC certification—the coveted AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Medal! In this 4-week class, we’ll cover everything from basic commands like “sit” and “stay” to confidence-building exercises and polite puppy behavior. Plus, you’ll learn how to tackle those pesky puppy quirks like jumping or chewing. By the end, your pup will be a superstar-in-training, and you’ll feel like the ultimate puppy parent.
