AKC Canine Good Citizen

Service Description

Take steps towards earning an AKC Canine Good Citizen Award! The CGC class is a great way for responsible pet owners to ready their dog for therapy work, solidify obedience and manners, and earn a title! The Canine Good Citizen Class will comprise of 3 weeks where we practice the skills on the exam. Some examples of those skills; loose leash walking, recall, supervised separation, and body handling. The 4th week will be a CGC pre-test where we do it all without treats or training equipment so the handler can get a good idea of skills they need more practice on, or if they are ready for the test!
